The Granby UNICO Club will present a night of comedy on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Manitook Lake Hall, 70 Lakeside Drive.
This narrative is unlike the usual Drummer article which imparts information and meaning. Using amalgams of words and of expressions in current use, the narrative is meant to amuse.

The East Granby Library will host a virtual talk with Martha Hall Kelly on Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. Sunflower Sisters, Kelly’s latest novel in the series that includes Lilac Girls and Lost Roses, continues the story of her ancestors. Georgeanna Woolsey, a nurse who joins the war effort for the Union during the War Between the States, crosses paths with Jemma, a young enslaved girl sold off and conscripted into the army, and with Ann-May Wilson, a southern plantation mistress.
