Eighteen youth and 10 adults from First Congregational Church of Granby spent August 8-15 in Guyan Valley, West Virginia on a mission trip sponsored by the Appalachia Service Project. During their stay, participants built porches, wheelchair ramps, staircases, refinished floors and bathrooms, and painted and sided houses utilizing woodworking skills that they had learned in pre-trip classes.
