Wood-burning stoves can be a way to lower fuel costs and aid in heating a residence. Wood stoves and alternative heating devices can be a life-threatening hazard if not installed properly.

Imagine yourself walking through a dark graveyard with unholy apparitions lurking just beyond sight making slight rustling sounds. A chill breeze brings goose bumps to your skin, and then you hear maniacal laughter and the horrific sound of a chain saw starting up right behind you, and you run screaming into the night!
Maple View Horse Farm, Salmon Brook Street February was tough with all the snow and cold (check out the picture) even though things are less spread out here in the winter than in the summer, that’s still a lot of snow to trudge through and move. Marquis of Granby to hold open house By Lori Catlin Garcia The Marquis of Granby Ancient Fyfe and Drum Corps will hold an open house on Wednesday, March 18 at First Congregational Church of Granby on Route 189. Fresh Access Accomplishments and Plans Holcomb Farm’s Fresh Access program prospered in 2014, supplying over 10,000 pounds of fresh, chemical-free vegetables to those who cannot access them readily. Fresh Access provided substantial pounds of produce to the Granby Senior Center and the Hispanic Health Council in Hartford.
