Tim Herbst, a lawyer, former First Selectman of Trumbull and Republican candidate for the 2018 gubernatorial race, is on a mission to “root out waste, fraud and abuse at every level” of state government. In an interview with Susan Patricelli-Regan, Herbst stated that he will follow all Connecticut constitutional election protocol when the primary results are in and will not petition to continue if he does not qualify at the May GOP convention.
Foxfield F.A.R.M. Veterans’ Groundwork Equine Therapy Charity has been awarded a $500 grant for 2017-2018 by the Simsbury Jr. Woman’s Club. The awards night was held at the Freemason’s Hall in Simsbury, on April 19 with a social reception.
Jonathan Harris, a lawyer, former state Consumer Protection Commissioner, former Mayor of West Hartford and a Democratic candidate for the 2018 Gubernatorial race spoke with Susan Patricelli-Regan, host of CT Valley Views to outline his view on what is needed to re-invigorate the State. DiGiorgi Roofing and Siding Inc. recently provided the Foxfield F.A.R.M. groundwork therapy program for veterans and first responders with a donation of gutters installed on the new barn to provideflooding protection for the veterans patio and horse stall areas. The Digiorgi family business, with headquarters in Beacon Falls, is a family-owned and operated home and commercial improvement company serving the entire state for over 85 years.
Simsbury resident Gayle Murphy has a stack of cards that she has been saving for the past three months. She had them on display for every week that she received a food delivery from Healing Meals Community Project (HMCP), and now she takes them out to remind herself of how far she’s come.
On Mother’s Day we honor our mothers, grandmothers, god-mothers, and aunts for all the love and devotion they have given us, and the sacrifices they have made over the years. We tell them the words in our heart, “I love you,” and they are happy.
