The rink was filled with current and former student athletes and fans from Suffield, Granby, and Windsor Locks. Thirty alumni played in the jamboree. Kelly Lane School, Wells Road Primary School and the Granby Memorial Middle School, held assemblies of their respective entire student bodies honoring several dozen Granby Veterans, some accompanied by family members. Simsbury Bank, in conjunction with the Farmington Valley VNA, will be holding two Flu Vaccine Clinics in October: Friday, Oct. 19, at 981 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, and Thursday, Oct. 25, at 11 Hartford Avenue, Granby. Both clinics will be from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Transfer Station hours: In addition to Saturdays, the transfer station will be open Wednesday mornings (8 a.m. to noon) through November 14, 2018. Household Hazardous waste: the next collection will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Simsbury DPW facility, 66 Town Forest Road, Simsbury.  A list of accepted items is available on the Town of Granby website.
