Per Executive Order, this meeting shall be held remotely; commission members who speak shall introduce themselves each time they speak; members of the public who wish to speak shall introduce themselves and state their address.
This week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. Students and families have truly honored them by creating videos and signs.
On May 20, at the first-ever Republican virtual convention, Mary Fay earned the nomination to run for U.S. Congress in Connecticut’s first district, challenging John Larson. Fay garnered 59 percent of the 153 Republican delegates to win the nomination of her party.
The State of Connecticut has continued to make progress in flattening the COVID-19 curve and the Town of Granby has been monitoring information on a daily basis. As the town’s response continues, a Long-Term Recovery Committee and the Granby School Reopen Task Force have been established.
The Granby Public Library continues to offer many of its services, including programming, reference help, and circulation, even though the buildings are closed to the public until further notice.
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statute, all dogs over the age of six months must be licensed in the town of residence no later than June 30 each year. Dog licensing for 2020 will start June 1.
