Municipal Election on Nov. 7, Granby Ballot Question, Absentee Ballots Available, In Person Registration Deadline, Poll workers are needed, and Voter Registration
Poll workers needed, Voter registration, and No Primary, Nov. 7 is Election Day
Applications to receive an absentee ballot are being collected now by the Town Clerk for those who know they will be away from home on Nov. 7. The form is available at Town Hall or at sots.ct.gov
The Connecticut Allow for Early Voting Amendment is on the Nov. 8 ballot as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment.
Granby voters turned out in higher numbers than the statewide average for both parties to support their candidates of choice in the Republican and Democratic primaries.
State and federal agencies are assisting the Town of Granby with finding new protocols for providing the possible alternatives to vote. New guidelines are still in development for in-person voting, and the registrars will equip the polling place with supplies that meet the CDC guidelines.
