Sometimes it feels as if the YSB is the best kept secret that’s not a secret in town. Most of our offerings are free to residents, and all focus on helping make our community stronger and healthier.

Enthusiastic candidates and hardworking supporters motivated many new voters to go to the polls on Nov. 2. Detailed results for the election are available on the Secretary of State’s website.
The best way to summarize the difference is that the National Register District identifies worthy properties and historic areas, and the local district protects them.

The focus of the Social Services Department is to coordinate existing federal, state, regional and local services, to increase community awareness of these services and to develop new programs to meet the needs of Granby residents.
Both major parties will be hosting a caucus in mid-January to elect their Town Committee members. Details will be posted as soon as the dates are announced.
