Music series presents fiddler-songwriter Feb. 8

Based out of Brooklyn, N.Y,, Andrea Asprelli is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. She has released two albums of original music as the front woman and songwriter for Cricket Tell the Weather, alumni winners of the FreshGrass Award.

International artists at Hampstead Hill Club

On Oct. 19, 75 people came to see Richard Wood and Gordon Belsher from Prince Edward Island perform their first fiddle concert at Hampstead Hill Club in West Granby. Wood has performed across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Granby Artists enjoy open house

Members of the Granby Artists Association enjoyed the Open House on Nov. 22, hosted by Eric Mainardi, co-owner of One Park Place, next to Grass Roots Ice Cream. The event kicked off the holiday season for all of the building’s tenants.

Land Trust art show

Lovers of art and nature from across the state came to Lost Acres Vineyard for Opening Night of the Granby Land Trust’s annual art show: Celebrating New England’s Natural Beauty. The show will be on display through Dec. 8 at the vineyard.

Glass artist Jen Violette will be having her 23rd Annual Holiday Glass Sale on Saturday, December 7 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m., at 30 Haven Drive in Granby.
