The East Granby Congregational Church invites everyone to offer a prayer at the cross just outside its building, adjacent to Route 20 between the fence and the sidewalk.

The Bruce Porter Memorial Music Series resumes after a five-year hiatus with a concert of music and the poetry of Ukraine on Sunday, May 18, at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary on the South Campus of Granby Congregational Church, 242 Salmon Brook Street.

When in 1986 the Moffa family moved to Granby, young Fred Moffa took the Welcome to Granby sign seriously. While college and graduate school would claim him temporarily, Granby would remain his home, and he has clearly made his mark here.
The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has established a Greater Together Community Fund for each of the 29 towns in the Greater Hartford region, which includes Granby. The Hartford Foundation has since provided each Community Fund with $180,000, with $70,000 being maintained in the Funds’ endowments and the remaining $110,000 to support current grantmaking efforts.

The American Legion will hold its famous pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 13, from 6 a.m. until noon at the Legion Hall, 244 North Granby Road.
Granby Racial Reconciliation (GRR) is hosting a series of workshops with the first two on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday May 19. The Race, Religion, and Politics workshops will be guided conversations where participants can deepen their understanding of the dynamics of these social forces at work in our nation.
