Granby’s Got Talent competition is April 4

The Granby Memorial High School Athletic Booster Club will host its second Granby’s Got Talent competition on Saturday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the GMHS auditorium.

Gran-Bee is just around the corner

On Friday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m., all of Granby will be abuzz as the Granby Education Foundation (GEF) hosts the 17th Annual Gran-Bee Trivia Contest at the Granby Memorial High School auditorium.

Granby Community Garden is looking for gardeners

Spring is coming, and with it all the joys of gardening. If you love to garden, but don’t have a sunny garden spot then the Granby Community Garden might be just the place for you.  Our gardeners, from beginners to seasoned veterans, grow a wide variety of vegetables and flowers.

Granby Drummer scholarship

Citizens for a Better Granby, publishers of the Granby Drummer will award a $1,500 college scholarship to a graduating high school senior. To qualify, a student must be a Granby resident and be pursuing a career in communications or journalism.

Rotary Club of Simsbury-Granby Scholarship

Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Simsbury-Granby Rotary club High School Scholarship program. This year the club will award $18,000 in academic scholarships, including a single Ed Dodge Scholarship in the amount of $6,500 to one senior from either Simsbury or Granby high school.
