Granby Memorial High School Dramatic Arts is thrilled to be performing Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol this fall.
The Granby boys soccer team competed against Stafford on Sept. 15, winning 7-0.
Did you know that Granby Memorial High School has a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Board? This board is a collaboration among teachers, administrators, business industry professionals and community members.
Amid the cooler mornings, shifting leaves and decreasing hours of daylight, one undoubtable signal indicated the closing hours of summer: yard signs, scattered throughout town, boldly asserting this message: “First Day of School, August 29.”
Granby Public Schools welcomed back all staff on Aug. 24 with a high energy convocation. The message of the day was “Let Kindness Ripple.” We plan to carry this theme throughout the 2023-24 school year.
Susan Regan, host of CT Valley Views, had the distinct pleasure to speak to Jeffrey Brown, CEO of the Wadsworth Atheneum and Matthew Hargraves, PhD, director of the Atheneum, to learn of new directives for the Wadsworth.

The West Granby United Methodist Church is hosting its Annual Blueberry Pie Supper on Saturday, July 23. Sittings are at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the church, 87 Simsbury Road in West Granby. 1921 – 2016Glidden Doman, a pioneer in the design of helicopters and wind turbines, passed away June 6.Born in Syracuse, New York, in 1921, he came from a family of inventors and entrepreneurs. They planted a beautiful Japanese Maple tree with a plaque in memory of her. Lessons vary according to ability and experience, but will include everything from stroke development to sportsmanship to match strategy.
