Steps determined for Center Study project

At the Sept. 19, 2022, joint meeting of the Board of Selectmen and the Planning and Zoning Commission, it was decided to develop a plan to study long-term growth of the town center, an important consideration in Granby’s strategic plan going forward. This became known as the Center Study, and P&Z was asked to create a process for the scope of a study.

Social Services — March 2023

The focus of the Social Services Department is to coordinate existing federal, state, regional and local services, to increase community awareness of these services and to develop new programs to meet the needs of Granby residents.

Building the Balance

When it comes to screen time and social media, the research being done is clear: tweens and young teens that spend time on social media are at greater risk for several mental health issues including suicidal ideation, depression, low self-esteem and anxiety. So, what is the answer?
