Granby churches premiere Round in Common Time

Round in Common Time is a choral piece written this spring to express love, gratitude and support for the essential workers in the coronavirus pandemic. As a Granby musician and poet, I composed the piece as a song/prayer for those risking their lives to help the rest of us survive.

The Pandemic

It came so suddenly—the closing of colleges, schools, houses of worship, and libraries, hairdressers and bank lobbies. Everything that was a normal part of daily living was no more.

Remembering My Father

As we are growing up, our fathers teach us many things and give us the love of their hearts. On Father’s Day we remember them and thank them for all the ways they have made us who we are today.

Painting Study Group at Simsbury Library

The Painting Study Group, a group of 10 Granby artists, will exhibit its oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel paintings with the theme “For the Love of Art” from March 2 through 30 in the Simsbury Library’s Program Room during regular library hours.
