Granby artist Bill Simpson’s charcoal drawing, Fishing with Nick, has been included in the Mattatuck Museum’s 2022 Juried Members exhibition.
The following narrative has no hidden meaning. In fact, it has no meaning at all. It uses current expressions and new usages of old words to create a semblance of meaning. How great is that?
Alex Anisimov has a solution to the problem so many of us have. We love art, but new works are expensive, and we don’t really have any more room for them anyway. Anisimov has created a new way for locals to solve this problem: pick a spot where you are willing to rotate your art and rent one of his paintings.
We thank our Heavenly Father for all who gather around this Thanksgiving table today and for the plentiful food He provided. For, whether we are together in person or virtually, our hearts are united.
