Nature’s Music, a poem by Noelle Tackett, daughter of David and Sarah Tackett, was selected by composer Ellen Gilson Voth to be set to music in a new piece commissioned by the Farmington Valley Chorale. To mark its 50th anniversary in 2020, the chorale looked to young poets for an original poem that explores a theme related to how music affects us or has an impact on our lives.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire community for welcoming me with open arms to this incredible town. I truly feel fortunate and proud to serve as your Superintendent of Schools. From my first day riding the bus with students, to presenting the Plus One Budget to the Board of Education, each moment positively reflects the Granby culture.
