The Friends of Granby Public Library (FOGPL) will accept donations for its annual book sale from June 14 through July 17. Please start setting aside donations for this big annual event that will be held Sept. 24–26 at Holcomb Farm.

The State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has announced a hiking challenge. The Sky’s the Limit Hiking Challenge calls for participants to explore bridges, footbridges and boardwalks on 20 trails within various state parks and forests, officials said.
