The Cub Scouts of Granby Pack 325 is proud to offer its second year of flag service to all Granby residents and businesses, and for anyone that wants to show support for the Granby Cub Scouts.

The flag service allows you to display your patriotism or honor a neighbor without the hassle of doing it yourself. This service is a fundraiser for Pack 325, where 100 percent of the funds go directly to the pack and allow the boys and girls of Pack 325 to purchase uniforms and advancement awards, attend camp, run Pack events, and helps to offset dues and other Pack operating expenses.

The Cub Scouts will deliver and install an American flag at your property or location of your choosing the morning of the observance and remove it at the end of the day. The flag is 3’x5’ and securely installed on a steel post and aluminum pole. Each flag is treated with the honor and respect it deserves and is folded and safely stored in between each use.

If you are not a Granby resident, or not sure where to display your flag, we can tailor an arrangement that works for you such as a display at a veteran’s memorial, the Granby Police station or wherever else you might want to have your flag displayed.

The cost of the flag service is $50 per year and provides you with a display for the following four observances in 2021: Memorial Day on May 31, Independence Day on July 4, Patriot’s Day on Sept. 11, and Veterans Day on Nov. 11.

This year has been especially difficult for fundraising and the Scouts are very eager to hear from you and cannot wait to show you what a great service this is! To sign up for the flag service or to learn more about scouting, contact the Pack 325 Cub Scouts at pack325granby@gmail.com
