February was an exciting month for the Granby Public Schools. I cannot believe that half of the school year is complete.
The Granby Memorial High School National Honor Society is holding its annual Empty Bowls fundraising dinner on Friday, April 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Commons of GMHS.
The Granby Memorial High School Athletic Booster Club will host its second Granby’s Got Talent competition on Saturday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the GMHS auditorium.
Planning for the Granby Memorial High School Class of 2020’s Safe Grad Night is well underway, as graduating seniors prepare to celebrate the end of their high school careers this June.

On Friday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m., all of Granby will be abuzz as the Granby Education Foundation (GEF) hosts the 17th Annual Gran-Bee Trivia Contest at the Granby Memorial High School auditorium.
Citizens for a Better Granby, publishers of the Granby Drummer will award a $1,500 college scholarship to a graduating high school senior. To qualify, a student must be a Granby resident and be pursuing a career in communications or journalism.
Granby Memorial High School Performing Arts will be presenting Mamma Mia!, Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 15, at 2 p.m.
Sylvia Davis-Patricelli was a prodigious, interpretive fine arts painter whose life was dedicated not only to her family, but also to capturing an historic pictorial collection on canvas that spanned her entire creative life (1934-2004).
