On a recent Friday evening, the Kelly Lane Primary School nurse put out a request for new or gently used pants for students in need at her school. There was especially a shortage of boys’ pants. Over that weekend, members of the newly chartered Northwestern Connecticut Cyber Lions and Leo Clubs raised funds to purchase 16 new pairs of pants and delivered them to Kelly Lane on the next Monday morning. Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service organization that meets community needs both locally and around the world. Where there is a need, there is a Lion and Leo.
