Fall virtual programs for the autism community

Autism Families CONNECTicut, (AFC), is launching revamped virtual programs for those ages 3 to young adult on the autism spectrum. Like in-person programming, participants will be able to explore creativitythrough fun activities where they can interact with peers and express themselves freely via virtual platforms, such as Zoom and the Houseparty App.

East Granby Public Library and Land Trust Unveil New Story Trail

East Granby has opened its first story trail at the East Granby Land Trust’s Ian Clark Preserve. Family hikers are welcome to explore the half-mile loop and enjoy the story, When Grandma Gives You A Lemon Tree, by Suffield author, Jamie L. B. Deenihan and illustrated by Lorraine Rocha.

49th Granby Road Race runs strong

On Saturday, Sept. 19, our community will celebrate the 49th Granby Road Race 5K and 10K. This race has a unique course that runs over road and trail to make beautiful running scenery for race participants.
