Martha Hall Kelly to talk about new novel

The East Granby Library will host a virtual talk with Martha Hall Kelly on Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. Sunflower Sisters, Kelly’s latest novel in the series that includes Lilac Girls and Lost Roses, continues the story of her ancestors. Georgeanna Woolsey, a nurse who joins the war effort for the Union during the War Between the States, crosses paths with Jemma, a young enslaved girl sold off and conscripted into the army, and with Ann-May Wilson, a southern plantation mistress.

Hop into history with the Easter Bunny at the New England Air Museum’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 2. Families and children are invited to join us from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our Easter Egg Hunt.

Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Easter Eggspress

Motorwoman Cotton-Tail will be roaming the Connecticut Trolley Museum grounds and posing for pictures distantly on March 27 and 28, and April 2 and 3, from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Each child will receive an Easter egg with a surprise inside when they complete a Scavenger Hunt, make a Bunny Ear Craft or visit the Fire Truck Museum.

The Granby Camera Club is unable to use the Senior Center for its meetings at this time. While many members are not ready for group indoor meetings, that is not keeping the club from sharing, communicating and enjoying photography.
