People often think healthy living is eating the right food, getting plenty of exercise and sleep. Some depend upon alcohol, tobacco, or “comfort food”—which don’t really help a body resist the stresses and strains, and in fact can contribute to issues like heart disease and digestive disorders. Pursuant to the Rules of the Democratic Party and State election laws, you are hereby notified that a caucus will be held on March 28, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Granby Senior Center to endorse delegates to the State Conventions in May.
Membership in the Salmon Brook Historical Society offers many benefits including free tours, newsletters, annual dinner in April, Christmas house tour and wassail party in December and the opportunity to learn about and help preserve Granby history.

Albert Einstein famously said, “There are no coincidences.” It doesn’t take a genius, though, to recognize those occurrences that happen from time to time, that defy common explanation and leave you shaking your head in amazement. In 2017, Connecticut Public Act 17-170 called upon each town and municipality to develop an affordable housing plan. The draft of the Affordable Housing Plan will be available for review and posted on the town’s website by March 10.
