Cemetery manners, please

Something new has been happening at our lovely Granby cemetery this summer. People are deadheading their flowers and pulling yellowed leaves and weeds and leaving them under the water spigots.

Social Services

The focus of the Social Services Department is to coordinate existing federal, state, regional and local services, to increase community awareness of these services and to develop new programs to meet the needs of Granby residents.

Drumrolls – September 2019

UConn student Jessica Askew received a 2019 Hartford Golf Club Scholarship. Applicants are evaluated based on financial need, academic performance, character recommendations, and other criteria. 

BOE candidate forum is Sept. 24

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, candidates who are running for the Granby Board of Education on the November ballot have been invited to attend a Candidate Forum being sponsored by the registrars office.

Granby 4-H sign-up night is Oct. 2

Granby 4-H sign-up night is planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Holcomb Farm Workshop. The presentation will  introduce the youth officer team, leaders, and project groups available for the 2019-2020 program year.
