I’m writing in support of Whitney Sanzo for the Board of Education. Whitney and I connected nine years ago when our families were both fostering children.

I’m writing in support of Whitney Sanzo for the Board of Education. Whitney and I connected nine years ago when our families were both fostering children.
We are pleased to endorse Sarah Thrall for reelection to the Granby Board of Education. We have known Sarah for over 15 years and have always been impressed with her service to the community.
I have known James Tsaptsinos since he moved to Granby nine years ago. He is a great neighbor and he is a person that contributes to the community. His experience and background will make him an excellent member of the Board of Finance.
• Grossman welcomed Tess Bajek, a junior at the high school, as the new Student Representative.
• It has been a busy hiring season, hiring approximately 50 new staff members.

The Granby Lions awarded $2,500 scholarships to three Granby Memorial High School 2021 graduates: Ty de los Reyes, attending Central Connecticut State University; Madison Kennedy, attending Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; and Mark McWhirter, attending the University of Connecticut.
