Celebrating 60 years together

Ann and Clifford Thorstenson were married in 1962 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hartford. In August the couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a trip down memory lane in a limo—taking them to all the places they lived together before settling in Granby.

Speaking at the Granby Men’s Breakfast in September, Granby’s own Dr. Peter Barwick, MD, reviewed the history of pandemics, the progression of science and of medicine, the important role of several “unknown (think unrecognized) individuals” and the role of the electron microscope.
