CT Valley Views TV would like to know what Granby residents are concerned about respective to the town and its prospects for the future.
As the calendar year 2019 approaches, the questions, concerns and topics which residents would like to see covered by CT Valley Views will be reviewed. Once an aggregate of common subjects is gathered, they will be addressed in a segment in the coming months.
Beer and wine tasting, an Italian dinner, live entertainment, tea-cup raffles and a silent auction will highlight Granby UNICO’s annual “Festa di Ottobre” on Monday night, Oct. 8 at the Cambridge House Brew Pub.
A Public Hearing has been set for September 25, 2018 for an application seeking a Special Permit for an illuminated freestanding sign and two additional freestanding signs for property at 4 East Granby Road.
Dr. Addley welcomed everyone back to another school year and recognized students, staff members and parents for their patience and flexibility during the week of extreme heat.
One Polling Site for the Election
For the Gubernatorial Election on Tuesday, Nov. 6, the polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Granby residents will vote in the Granby Community Gym, located in Granby Memorial High School in the center of town.

Two Statewide Ballot Questions: Vote Yes or No
Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to ensure (1) that all moneys contained in the Special Transportation Fund be used solely for transportation purposes, including the payment of debts of the state incurred for transportation purposes, and (2) that sources of funds deposited in the Special Transportation Fund be deposited in said fund so long as such sources are authorized by statute to be collected or received by the state? Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to require (1) a public hearing and the enactment of legislation limited in subject matter to the transfer, sale or disposition of state-owned or state-controlled real property or interests in real property in order for the General Assembly to require a state agency to sell, transfer or dispose of any real property or interest in real property that is under the custody or control of the agency, and (2) if such property is under the custody or control of the Department of Agriculture or the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, that such enactment of legislation be passed by a two-thirds vote of the total membership of each house of the General Assembly?
This past week Granby Memorial High School hosted its 10-year New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accreditation visit. The high school staff did a terrific job preparing for this important school improvement visit.
It’s the start of another year and the Parents for a Safe Grad Night need your help to begin planning a great event for the class of 2019. Safe Grad Night is held at the Granby YMCA on graduation night and offers a fun-filled, substance-free event for seniors.
