On Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, the Granby Drummer will host its third Puzzle Slam competition and fundraiser at the Granby Memorial Middle School. A midwestern favorite, speed puzzling has risen in popularity in recent years.

The Granby Artists Association held its Annual Open Studio Tour Oct. 4 and 5. Visitors had the opportunity to meet the 18 participating artists at their home studios or in gallery spaces and learn how they make their art.
On Oct. 6, The Granby Board of Selectmen honored the town’s police and fire chiefs.
Donna Daye (Wynings) Fenton, 81, of Granby and formerly of Bloomfield, CT, beloved wife of 60 years to Stephen R. Fenton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Holden, MA.
