There are certain recipes that we tend to make frequently, whether it’s because they are easy to make, are our favorites, or they bring back fond memories. I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful mother who was also a great cook, and I remember the meals that would repeat several times during the month.
The Annual McLean Golf Tournament supports the vital McLean Home Care and Hospice program that serves residents at McLean and in the community. The tournament sponsors’ generous support, especially during these difficult times, exemplifies their faith in our mission to serve those in need. On Sept. 13, 104 golfers and 35 sponsors raised over $55,000.

The focus of the Social Services Department is to coordinate existing federal, state, regional and local services, to increase community awareness of these services and to develop new programs to meet the needs of Granby residents.
We thank our Heavenly Father for all who gather around this Thanksgiving table today and for the plentiful food He provided. For, whether we are together in person or virtually, our hearts are united.
Now is the time to register for the Winter Youth Basketball Program. Granby Parks and Recreation strives to provide a positive recreational basketball program for boys and girls in grades K-8.

Welcome our new Town Manager, Erica Robertson. After 20 years working in Farmington Town Hall, most recently as Assistant Town Manager, Robertson was offered and accepted this important leadership position and started work here on Sept. 20.
Robert Flanigan and his drone captured the start of the 50th Granby Road Race on Sept. 18. The runners left the starting line on Route 10, heading to the center of town, led by a Granby PD vehicle with lights flashing.
I want to thank the people of Granby for the opportunity to be your First Selectman for the last eight years. I have been fortunate to work with a great group of professionals on the Board of Selectmen over the years and wish to thank Sally King for being the best Vice Chair anyone could ask for.
