Trash Holiday: Monday, May 29, Memorial Day is a holiday for Paine’s. All trash and recycling pickups will be delayed by one day the week after the holiday.

Aquarion launches testing for “forever chemicals”

Aquarion Water Company announced the launch of the company’s 2023 Connecticut per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) testing program on March 14. Done annually, this program is scheduled to begin in April.

Repair plan for Rte. 10/202 light poles

During this past summer, the Granby Department of Public Works was notified by a resident that there “was a problem” with the light poles along the Rte. 10/202 sidewalks in the historic district.

Public offers input on Center Study scope

Director of Community Development Abigail Kenyon provided an overview of the Granby Center Study at the Feb. 28, 2023, Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. She discussed how the commission is soliciting ideas from the public for items that should be included in the study.
