When Granby Memorial High School established its first football team in 2008, Frankie Rome, class of 2010, was not only the team’s first quarterback but also scored its first touchdown. Now, his younger brother, Jackson Rome, is also the GMHS quarterback.
Tender Care Learning Centers has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Hartford Courant.
Don Shaw, Jr. was honored with a 2018 Anchor Award from the University of Hartford.

Granby Performing Arts at GMHS is back with this year’s fall play: Almost, Maine by John Cariani, directed by Nikki Currie-Huggard.
This past week Granby Memorial High School hosted its 10-year New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accreditation visit. The high school staff did a terrific job preparing for this important school improvement visit.
Dr. Addley welcomed everyone back to another school year and recognized students, staff members and parents for their patience and flexibility during the week of extreme heat.
