Wings Over Granby Land Trust’s Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve: Tuesday, Oct. 5, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Holcomb Farm North Barn Pavilion. Despite its name, this new Granby Land Trust preserve is anything but dismal for lovers of winged wildlife.
As the fall chill fills the air, and on the darkest of nights, mournful cries of the abandoned dead are heard on the tracks at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor. Come for a scare if you dare!
Fall Flea Market is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the society’s grounds, rain or shine.

Members of the Granby Artists Association are excited to again offer the annual Open Studio Tour on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 16 and 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants have been working hard for many months creating beautiful works of fine art and functional pieces to wear, adorn your home and give as gifts.
The 38th annual Friends of Granby Public Library (FOGPL) book sale will be held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 24–26 at Holcomb Farm, 113 Simsbury Road in West Granby.

One of Granby’s most beloved events is back: Open Farm Day, a free experience for Granby and surrounding communities, will be held on Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. After planning was paused in 2020 due to pandemic safety concerns, the Granby Agricultural commission is thrilled to resume this fun family event.
The next Granby Men’s Breakfast will be in person on Friday, Sept. 10 at the Senior Center. The guest speaker is Yard Goats Baseball Community Engagement Manager Tom Baxter.
