4-H Bottle/Can Drive

Please consider donating your bottles/cans to the Granby 4-H Robotics program. Your donation of returnable bottles/cans will help the program continue for the 2022 robotics season and help offset some of the registration costs for the 2022 World Championship. The next bottle can drive will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. at the South Congregational Church.

Christmas Concert

The Granby Women’s Breakfast Group, the Granby Men’s Breakfast Group and the Granby Civic Club will gather at Granby Memorial High School on Friday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. to hear the GMHS Chorale perform a Christmas concert. Please pre-register through your group.

Transportation will be provided from the Senior Center as there will be no parking available at the high school due to lack of parking spaces. Additional details will follow via phone calls and email notifications to attendees.

Granby Living Calendar

The Granby Living Facebook Group calendar for 2022 will be available throughout December. This is your annual fundraiser with all profits donated to the Granby Food Bank and the Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen.

Many thanks to Beman Hardware, the Granby Dental Center and Route 10 Tire for helping with distribution, and to all the group members that sent in so many beautiful photos of our lovely town.

Men’s Breakfast

The Granby Men’s Breakfast group will meet at the Senior Center on Friday, Jan. 14. Granby’s Town Manager Erica Robertson will speak on the status of the town.

Breakfast begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Men of any age interested in joining the Granby Men’s Breakfast group or attending the Jan. 14 meeting should send contact information to gmensbkfst@gmail.com

Women’s Breakfast

The Women’s Breakfast Group will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 5 for On the Road Again with Charmaine Glew.

The February meeting, on Wednesday, Feb. 2, for Granby Women Power, with Town Manager Erica Robertson and Director of Community Development Abigail Kenyon.

Breakfast at the Senior Center will start at 8:30 a.m. and the programs will begin at 9 a.m. Cost $4. Please register in advance by calling the senior center or registering on the senior center website.
