Friday, Feb. 9 Special Session to receive petitions for the Presidential Preference Primary (PPP), 1 to 4 p.m.
The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has established a $150,000 Greater Together Community Fund for the town of Granby. A selection committee of Granby residents is forming an advisory panel to manage a participatory process to identify local needs and allocate community funds.
Every tree was sold well before Christmas thanks to the community support that is welcomed every year.

It’s February, and you know what that means—groundhog shadows, hearts, chocolate, and Granby Parents for a Safe Graduation (GPSG) kicking into high gear! GPSG is an all-volunteer, non-profit group that organizes a substance-free Safe Grad celebration for Granby Memorial High School graduates.
As you know, this fall Granby Public Schools identified two priorities for the year: Maximize student growth and achievement and improve our school community communications.
The Granby Memorial High School Dramatic Arts is incredibly excited to perform the hit musical Footloose this Spring. Although the musical is known for its dancing, it carries a deeper meaning of grief and how people struggle to connect after a massive loss.
Granby’s outstanding High School Chorale, with Director Mindy Shilansky, performed for the Women’s Breakfast Group on Dec. 6.
