As many of you know, the Granby Public Library is closed to the public until further notice. Some library staff members are available to answer phone calls and emails with requests for information, assistance with online resources, registering for a free library card or help with technology.

The Senior Skinny

The Senior Center will remain closed until at least May 20 in keeping with the Governor’s recommendations. It has listed some of its upcoming events and trips for the summer months so you can save the dates.

Seniors Job Bank elects leadership team

The Seniors Job Bank has chosen officers and directors to guide the nonprofit job referral service into its 41st year. Bernie Weiss, of West Hartford, is the new president.

MS Support Group

The Granby Multiple Sclerosis Support Group normally meets at the Senior Center at 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

SBHS Cancellations

Following the social distancing guidelines of the Governor’s office to prevent the spread of coronavirus and limit groups to five or fewer, the Salmon Brook Historical Society has cancelled the following events: the May 16 Spring Flea Market, the June 6 Car and Tractor Show and the June 20 Ice Cream Social.
