Library book sale collection may be delayed

When writing this in mid-April, it’s still unknown when things will be getting back to normal.

The Friends of Granby Public Library is still planning its annual book sale in September. Book collection/donations would usually start in the beginning of June, but this year we may be delayed. We will announce when it will start as soon as it is determined. In the meantime, with everyone doing extra spring cleaning at home, we hope you set aside any items that you would like to donate for the sale.

While we all like to shop locally, right now it may be difficult to do, but if you do use Amazon you can still support the Friends when shopping by using Amazon Smile. Setup is easy by going to on your desktop or mobile phone. Sign in and at the top navigation select the option to search and select your charity. Make sure to select Friends of Granby Public Library, Inc Granby, CT. For every order that you place using the Amazon Smile site, a portion is donated to the library, at no extra cost to you.

The annual FOGPL membership year started on April 1. If you would like to join, or renew your Friends membership, the forms for 2020-21 are available on our Facebook page, Friends of Granby Library.
