Wednesday, March 23: Noon deadline for unaffiliated and new voters to register with a party to participate in the March 24 Caucus. Registrars’ Office is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Painting Study Group, a group of 10 Granby artists, will exhibit its oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel paintings with the theme “For the Love of Art” from March 2 through 30 in the Simsbury Library’s Program Room during regular library hours.
On Friday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m., all of Granby will be abuzz as the Granby Education Foundation (GEF) hosts the 17th Annual Gran-Bee Trivia Contest at the Granby Memorial High School auditorium.
Local artist Emma Smith’s exhibit entitled “Landscapes and Cityscapes of Faraway Places” is on display now through March 12 in UConn Health’s Celeste LeWitt Gallery in the Food Court, located at 263 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, Conn.
The Granby Camera Club will meet on Monday, Feb. 3, at the Granby Senior Center at 7 p.m. The program for the evening is Painting with Light.
Eliza Floran will present “From Grassroots Ice Cream to Deep Roots Street Food in Granby” to the Granby Women’s Breakfast Group on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Senior Center.
Based out of Brooklyn, N.Y,, Andrea Asprelli is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. She has released two albums of original music as the front woman and songwriter for Cricket Tell the Weather, alumni winners of the FreshGrass Award.
