Calling all artists—you are invited to enter your work in the Granby Land Trust’s 14th annual juried art show celebrating nature and the art it inspires. Works should be inspired by New England’s natural beauty.
It is fall in New England, and Granby offers some of the best open space hikes around; the Town’s own Holcomb Farm is one of them. The Friends’ Stewardship volunteers have been busy mowing the east field, maintaining walking paths, planting and labeling trees, installing eight new interpretive signs, installing new boardwalks over muddy areas, and rehabbing the South East Field.
Susan Werner has made a name for herself coast to coast. From her 1995 major label folk/rock debut Last of the Good Straight Girls to her 2007 collection of agnostic gospel hymns The Gospel Truth to her 2017 travelogue An American In Havana, Werner writes ambitious concept albums with subject matter and sounds to match.
