Granby Memorial High School Performing Arts is proud to present Mamma Mia, March 13, 14 and 15.
Nature’s Music, a poem by Noelle Tackett, daughter of David and Sarah Tackett, was selected by composer Ellen Gilson Voth to be set to music in a new piece commissioned by the Farmington Valley Chorale. To mark its 50th anniversary in 2020, the chorale looked to young poets for an original poem that explores a theme related to how music affects us or has an impact on our lives.
There are new procedures for registering kindergarten students. Beginning Feb. 1, parents must pre-register their child for kindergarten on the Kelly Lane Primary School page of the Granby Schools website: Granby.k12.ct.us
Happy New Year from the Granby Education Foundation. 2019 was a busy year for GEF as it continues to support innovative educational and arts programs throughout the community.
From the Ground Up is a chapter of the nonprofit Nourish My Soul, an organization whose mission is focused on creating food justice and ending food waste. This youth-led group gives Granby and East Granby high school students the opportunity to be directly connected to food justice activism happening in Connecticut.

Granby Memorial High School defeated Plainfield High School 6-0 on Saturday Nov. 23 to capture the CIAC Class M Girls Soccer Championship for the seventh time.
