Granby Land Trust earns Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

Just as the Granby Land Trust’s Dewey-Granby Oak began as a small acorn, the Granby Land Trust’s efforts to conserve and protect land started small, with the support of a small group of individuals—the land trust’s earliest members—who believed in preserving land for the benefit of future generations.

The Granby Land Trust recently released the latest in its series of virtual property tours: this one of the Seth and Lucy Holcombe Preserve in North Granby. This is the fourth in the series, the others offering tours of the Mary Edwards Mountain Property, the Katan-Ensor and Old Messenger Road Preserves, and the Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve.

Granby Land Trust applies for renewal of its accreditation

The land trust accreditation program recognizes land conservation organizations that meet national quality standards for protecting important natural places and working lands forever. The Granby Land Trust is pleased to announce that it is applying for renewal of its accreditation. A public comment period is now open.
