The Granby Performing Arts at Granby Memorial Middle School presents Just Like Us, a play about accepting differences and seeing the best in everyone. There’s a land of Blues and Greens and they are having a hard time getting along until a stranger from the land of Purple arrives and helps them accept their neighbors for who they are.

The Granby Senior Center Civic Engagement Education Team has engaged a private rose/history tour at Elizabeth Park on Wed., June 20. The tour will cover all major gardens maintained by the Conservancy.
The Granby Civic Club will meet at Lost Acres Orchard on June 21 at 12 p.m. It has been the Club’s tradition to hold the final meeting of the year at the Orchard—partaking of a fabulous farm-to-table luncheon, discussing current events of the town and planning future club activities. The ladies enjoy a great time of food, fun and fellowship as they eat under the apple trees or on the Farm Store porch.
Nearly 50 people turned out to celebrate Earth Day with the Granby Land Trust, as GLT Board Members Jen Plourde and Eric Lukingbeal conducted a hike on the trails of the GLT’s new, 150-acre Seth and Lucy Holcombe Preserve on Silver Street in North Granby. Hikers will have another opportunity to take a family-friendly, guided hike of the property on Connecticut Trails Day, June 3, at 1 p.m. Visit GranbyLandTrust.org for details.

The Granby Public Library is featuring the 12th annual Granby Camera Club photo exhibit from June 1 to 28. The club was founded 24 years ago to pursue photography as an art form and welcomes all who share a passion to learn, create and enjoy the beauty of photography.
