Three talented local authors will speak at the monthly All Access Authors event at the Storyteller’s Cottage on Thursday, May 30, 7 p.m.
The Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore, 413 Main St. in Middletown, will host an author night with four poets, on Monday, April 29, 7 p.m.
On Saturday, May 4, the Friends of the Southwick Senior Center will hold an outside “space only” sale on the grounds of the Southwick Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with set-up starting at 8 a.m.
Martha Hall Kelly will be hosted by the East Granby Library on Thursday, May 23, 6 p.m., for a talk and book signing.
On Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m., the Storyteller’s Cottage will host professional storyteller Jennifer Munro’s workshop for women; Taking a Stand.
The Simsbury Grange and Green Monster e-Cycling will co-host a recycling event on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Andy’s Market, 836 Hopmeadow Street (Route 10) in Simsbury.

Welcome spring on Saturday, May 4, with a Tag and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Copper Hill United Methodist Church, 27 Copper Hill Road, in East Granby.
Get ready for love, laughter and an afterlife adventure in The Suffield Players’ production of I Hate Hamlet by Paul Rudnick, on May 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. and May 12 at 2 p.m. at Mapleton Hall, 1305 Mapleton Avenue in Suffield.
The New England Air Museum has appointed Debbie Reed as executive director. Gina Maria Alimberti was named executive director of the Bradley Regional Chamber of Commerce, serving the East Granby and Windsor Locks communities.
