The Friends of the Cossitt Library will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. The Friends’ president will give an Annual Report with an update on Friends projects and active Friends members will vote to elect Trustees for the next fiscal year.
On Saturday, Nov. 13, the First Congregational Church of Granby will host a food safety training class and certification exam. The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is recognized nationally and meets food service licensing requirements for the State of Connecticut.
The next Granby Men’s Breakfast e-meeting is Friday, Oct. 8. We are fortunate to have our friend Jerry Ledger discussing the Farmington Valley Greenway. Our speaker begins promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Save Wednesday, Oct. 6, for the Granby Women’s Breakfast’s long-awaited gathering, with breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m. and program beginning at 9 a.m. Ginny Apple, master wildlife conservationist, will talk about animals that forage, hunt and play after the sun goes down.
