The Wildcats Girls Ice Hockey Team just ended its first season as a varsity team—and with massive success. Last year, the group played only as a club team, with players from Suffield, Enfield, Housatonic, Ellington, Granby and surrounding towns.
On Jan. 10, Granby Memorial High School held the schoolwide finals of Poetry Out Loud, with nine finalists competing.
Seniors at Granby Memorial High School were pleasantly surprised on Valentine’s Day, when members of the Granby Senior Center walked into class pushing a cart full of goodies. Each senior received a bag of homemade cookies, chocolates and a note wishing them a Happy Valentine’s Day.
