To enrolled members of the Democratic Party of the Town of Granby.
Pursuant to the Rules of the Democratic Party and State election laws, you are hereby notified that a caucus will be held on March 28, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Granby Senior Center to endorse delegates to the State Conventions in May.

When GPS fails you…

Albert Einstein famously said, “There are no coincidences.” It doesn’t take a genius, though, to recognize those occurrences that happen from time to time, that defy common explanation and leave you shaking your head in amazement. It could be something small—a happy timing of receiving just what was needed when it was needed. Or it might be a moment of providence with a life-changing impact. I’m not a genius, but I’ve experienced a few of those “beyond coincidence” situations myself.

Granby answers state call for Affordable Housing Plans

In 2017, Connecticut Public Act 17-170 called upon each town and municipality to develop an affordable housing plan. The draft of the Affordable Housing Plan will be available for review and posted on the town’s website by March 10.

Gordon Daniels, Granby’s unsung hero

One cold winter morning, Dr. David Nochimson struck up a conversation with Gordon Daniels, a driver for Paine’s recycling and rubbish removal. After learning of Daniel’s history, he contacted the Drummer because he felt this man deserved recognition, noting, “Everyone has a niche and is important.”
