Stony Hill cleanup day is May 9
|
Community Serve Day at Stony Hill Village will be Saturday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at 259 Salmon Brook Street. Stony Hill is a senior living community managed by the nonprofit Granby Homes for Senior Citizens. Volunteers will work together by helping improve living spaces and outdoor areas.

Scouts take on Mount Washington—in mid-winter!

Three Granby scouts were with Simsbury’s Troop 76 when they all reached the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington on Feb. 14, capping a rigorous multi-day winter expedition that included two nights of camping in harsh alpine conditions.

Granby to participate in Neighborhood Assistance Act Program

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) has announced the 2026 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Program Proposal. This program provides tax credits to non-profit 501(c)(3) businesses that make cash investments in qualifying community non-profit programs.
