Chamber Music welcomes winter

On Thursday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m., the Musical Club of Hartford presents a lively concert to welcome winter and the holiday season with music for voice, violin, and piano, as well as viola da gamba, hammered dulcimer, recorders, harp and kantele.

Holiday Tours at Ellsworth Homestead

The Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution will offer its annual Christmas Open House, with tours at the historic Oliver Ellsworth Homestead at 778 Palisado Avenue in Windsor on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
