Granby men open their dream pub

Four Dads Pub is Granby’s newest local business and the most recent addition to the growing culinary choices that the town has to offer. The pub is the brainchild of four Granby dads.

With time on his hands due to the Coronavirus lockdown, high school senior Zach Orluk and his friends started going for hikes in McLean Game Refuge and on Granby Land Trust properties.

Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve opens

On Oct. 19, the Granby Land Trust opened its newest property, the Dismal Brook Wildlife Preserve. Located at 253 Loomis Street in North Granby, the preserve was donated to the Land Trust by longtime board member Jamie Gamble

Thanksgiving Thoughts

The fields were harvested. The pumpkin pies have been baked, and in the oven, the turkey roasts to a crisp, golden brown.

Men’s Breakfast

The next Granby Men’s Breakfast will be Friday, Nov. 13. The speaker for the eGroup will be Kirk Severance from the Public Works Department.

MS Support Group

The Granby Multiple Sclerosis Support Group will resume when the Granby Senior Center reopens.

Camera Club

The Granby Camera Club is unable to use the Granby Senior Center for its meetings at this time. Although many members are not ready for group indoor meetings, that is not keeping the club from sharing, communicating and enjoying photography.
