On May 27, Granby folks turned out for the annual Memorial Day Parade and convocation that honors Granby men and women who gave their lives for their country.
Jim Hall and a military color guard led off the parade that had all the requisite contingents: Honorary Parade Marshall Allen Christensen, local and state politicians, the GMHS parade band, the Marquis of Granby, kids and adults on horseback, veterans from each branch of the military and all topped off with a Conn. Air National Guard C-130 flyover.
