Granby field hockey team wins gold at Nutmeg Games The Granby Memorial High School team played in the Nutmeg Games on Saturday July 18. The team was comprised of field hockey players from Granby Memorial High School and was coached by Granby alum Abby Bascetta. Drew Obston out to change the World

A 21-year-old Granby man is out to change the world – one drop at a time. Drew Obston, a University of New Hampshire senior, is spending this summer in The Gambia, Africa for a non-profit group called Agua, Inc. The nonprofit brings drinkable water to areas where there is none. Obston, who hopes to make his career in micro-financing projects that improve people’s lives, is doing a seven-week, unpaid internship at Aqua, Inc.’s Gambian campus in West Africa.
